I kinda have an idea....but I would like opinions..Thanks Water spots are scanner glass.

8.5/9.0 top corner is cut off by the scanner but it looks ok based on the front.

 

Looks like a few spine creases and some chipping along the edge..

Yea I was thinking 9.0 has a dust shadow on the BC..love the cover.

Are those water spots on the book or the scanner glass? Also I see a white mark running parrallel to the spine about 1/2" in almost the whole length of the book. Is the color scuffed a bit or is it the scan.

Exactly a color scuff down the whole length of the book,hence my 7.5 assessment.

Here a better scan of the front cover....there no way this is a 7.5 sorry.

O.K. that's better, but now I see something else. The top corner at the spine F.C. looks like a small brown stain. Also, on the B.C. about 4" down the spine I see a brown spot. Is that a small stain or something on the scanner?

here is a scan of a 7.0,even less of a grade than I gave yours.yet it has very similar defects.I would even say it presents better.

Not sure about the B.C. but the F.C. definitely has a small brown stain in the top left corner. If I were to take a guess, I'd say the B.C. does have a stain as well.

 

That said, I still think it's a solid 8.0/8.5. Probably wouldn't hit a 9.0 like my earlier assessment but I certainly think it's better than a 7.0!
