X-Men 1 9.4, Hulk 2 9.6 & Other Marvel Gems in Pedigree Comics’ November Auction

3 posts in this topic

The Silver Age Marvel consignments continue to come in for Pedigree Comics’ upcoming November Grand Auction. This special online event is scheduled to begin in just under three (3) weeks on the night of Monday, November 7th, and last for seven (7) days until the evening of Monday, November 14th. The auction will have a couple of hundred choice high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages plus many other great books to choose from. The sooner you consign your books the more exposure and press they will receive. Pedigree Comics aggressively promotes and advertises each Grand Auction on many online sites and trade publications and we also send periodic newsletters to all of our over 17,500 customers announcing the individual auction items. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost every book will be listed without a reserve. Every book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. You can view over 130 books right now in the Auction Preview at www.PedigreeComics.com.

Our November Grand Auction is shaping up to be one of the very best all-time auctions for ultra high grade CGC certified Silver Age Marvels. Every one of the mainstream superhero titles is represented and many of the copies are the highest CGC graded for that issue. From Amazing Spider-Man to X-Men, you will find gorgeous NM and higher certified copies to add to your collection.

The new Silver Age consignment consists of 22 high grade Marvels from the 1960’s. Every book is CGC graded 9.2 or higher (save for a Journey Into Mystery 83 in 9.0 from the Twin Cities Collection!). There are even a few pedigrees included in this group (Pacific Coast, White Mountain, etc.). The books were just listed in the Auction Preview and will be available to bid on and buy in the auction. Here are the books from this consignment:

If you have any questions or comments about the consignment process, any of the auction lots or about the Grand Auction in general, as well as how to consign your CGC graded books for Pedigree’s upcoming November Grand Auction, please contact Pedigree’s CEO and President, Doug Schmell, at (561) 422-1120 (office) or (561) 596-9111 (mobile) or by email at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. For any financial related and consignment payment questions, please contact Pedigree's CFO Lisa Shapiro at Lisa@pedigreecomics.com and for any technical related questions or concerns, please contact their Web Master at WebDesigner@pedigreecomics.com.

Consignors maximize their profits selling in our Grand Auctions, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. We do not charge a Buyers Premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in other sites (the bidders simply deduct that Buyers Premium amount from their final bidding price, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home under Pedigree Comics’ Climbing Scale. We consistently set new sales records for Silver and Bronze Age comics in each Grand Auction and on our regular site inventory. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with new and diversified, top-rated CGC material in each event. Why settle for less by consigning with someone else?

Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the upcoming November Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the site, click "Customer Page" under "Your Account" and then click "Consignments" (under "Auctions"). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines. We will receive an email notification automatically once you have uploaded the information and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the November Grand Auction to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to utilize the Automated Consignment System.
