These books are great dollar box finds.

 

ASM collectors know they are harder to find. And once they catch on, will go up in value.

 

There's a venom appearance in one or two. Some have great covers. I think John Burn wrote some.

 

I know others that feel the same way.

Only thing that matters is that it's tiny for ASM.

 

Well, obviously the demand has to be there.

It will be. It some cases, it already is. ASM 29 sells for between $10-$20.

(Both are extremely low printed and tough to find. The newsstand is just ridiculous to find.)

You can probably find these in dollar bins, I bought a bunch of these a few years ago from a boardie for like a buck a pop, in like 9.6/9.8 condition.

The Strain #1 CGC 9.8 $400. I had to do a double take.

So I was just perusing eBay and checking out the incredible prices The Strain is getting when one in NM shape popped up newly listed for $25. The pics weren't to good but I pounced on it! It's my 4th copy. I sure hope this is a hit show..

Looked today at closest LCS for any of these. Not a one below 40....

I have been thinking of purchasing Spawn 228 Sketch cover, and every auction states 300 made. Does anyone have a way to see the print run is correct on this. I have a feeling the great Homage cover and low print (if accurate) will be a great investment later on.

Yeah.. average print numbers of 16k or so with spawn, putting you at around 600 range for the variants.

That's what I was thinking once I saw the Print Run on Comichron, not sure why Ebay listings kept stating 300. Maybe I will hold off on the buy.
