I'm rather new here, and will brave throwing my .02 in this well of knowledge, since it seems rather off-topic anyways :)

 

Didn't see this listed but i think it might as well mention it as i think it will be worthwhile down the road.

JCS really gets the shaft on these boards, except by those selling.

 

it's just funny that once his name is attached to a cover it turns into an instant $50+ book...even if the cover sucks. Sure he has done a few killer covers but ...meh for most of them.

 

Its only his lady covers though. His non-sexy covers don't get much heat.

I don't see the $25-$30 sets other than 1 auction. If anyone thinks an auction is a great idea, then $25-$30 may be what they get for their books. I paid roughly $18 a set before the news. Three of the last four sets sold for $45 or more. The last 2 sets of 1 2 3 4 5 6 sold for $39.99. The 3 before that sold for $30 to $35 and prior to that, they were bringing $18-$19.

I have been monitoring Ebay lot's lately, and the only real movement as of late has been in Manifest Destiny and of course the big 3 in Preacher. I have seen some love for Carnage lately, but otherwise pretty quiet for anything Late Copper / Modern.

Yeah, I doubt Gabriel will be on the show. At least how he is in the comics. It will probably be a mix of Aaron from Alexandria and Gabriel. That book has been hot because of the Chew preview. Gabriel is a throwaway character, IMO.

Carnage is picking up due to speculation of the Venom movie...more than likely Carnage will be in there somewhere at some point.
