I was planning on going to this show again this year, but there just isn't enough info updated about the dealers, exclusives, and other guests at this point to buy tickets at this point IMO. The show is just a month away. Can you provide more details please. I want to support the show since its local, but I need to justify buying tickets and taking the day off from work and at this point I cannot. I am not trying to put a bad light on the show, I am hoping you can put out a little wow factor information and that this show is going to be great when currently there is none.

While I assure you we are hard at work with the 2012 AMAZING ARIZONA COMIC CON, we are open to your input and feedback of what specifically you are looking for in a regional convention. As for the 2012 Amazing Arizona Comic Con, this past weekend we announced yet another member of the DC52 coming out to Mesa for the very FIRST Comic Con of the New Year: Joshua Fialkov. He will be joining Greg Capullo, Rob Liefeld, Brian Buccellato, Tyler Kirkham, JT Krul, and Norm Rapmund. That means you can get the following books signed at the con: Batman, Flash, Hawk & Dove, Green Lantern New Guardians, Superman, Green Arrow, Captain Atom, Teen titans, Fury of Firestorm, and I Vampire. Of course there are additional variants in there too. Don’t be surprised if there are a few more names from the DC 52 announced before the show as well.

 

On Monday, December 3, we will be announcing additional WALKING DEAD news, as our first cast member of the TV show will be joining creator-executive producer ROBERT KIRKMAN. This Week we should have announcements for new talent added just about every day- keep checking the site for more of your favorites from Marvel, to DC, Image, and more. Programming will be added from creator panels, video games, costumes, and the Kid’s Day/Family Day.

 

By the following week we should have Exhibitor lists up with your favorite comic dealers- from Silver Age to the Present, and lots of back issue bin dealers as well. An extensive artist Alley is packing the room with local favorites, out of town indy creators, and established pros- this should be up next week as well.

 

 

And if you’re in town, from the greater Phoenix Area, we welcome you to the pre-Convention Drink & Draw mixer THIS Thursday night at the Tilted kilt in mesa. This is a great opportunity to meet some creators, exhibitors, and fellow fans from the upcoming convention, as well as the convention promotion team. The First round is on us, whether you’re fdrinking cocktails or coca-cola!

 

We want to create a fun and accessible event for fans, pros, and vendors, and we will try to help you out wherever we can.

I am looking for want list from attendees. I will have around 90-100 long boxes of mostly GA, SA, Bronze, but I have way more I could bring if there are buyers, especially HG Copper and Modern issues.

 

I will have a TOS 39-5.5, Avengers 1-several, 4-7.5; HOS 92-8.5; ASM 1-2.5 that looks nice, 14-5.0 plus several others and raw issues; X-men 94 and GS in 7.5 to 9.0; DD1-7.5, MS 5-7.0 and many other nice books.

 

PM any books you are looking for please. Hope to see lots of you at the Con!
