My fav Spidey cover of them all is #136

That was owned by a boardie of ours. Great cover.

(thumbs u

IUt's my alltime favorite Spidey cover. It's Romita (best Spidey artist ever). It's "important" (first Harry as GG), and it's packed full of "drama".

One of my all-time favorite comic books. Love it. :cloud9:

"In the same subject and out of curiosity...Does McFarlane own the OA for ASM 300?"

No, this was sold privately to a European collector a few months go for north of $100,000

How about Spider-Man #1, who owns that piece and price paid for it?

I read somewhere that the OA for Spiderman #1 (or Amazing Fantasy #15) (can't remember which ones) was in the national musuem of arts (or something like that)... the article even says that ALL the pages was there and is intact. I think they are keeping it in a controlled environment in the same place as a 1st edition of the bible (the first book that's publish)

then again I could be mistaken :ohnoez:

The OA (less the cover) for AF#15 is at the Library of Congress.

uh, that's all fine and good but I'm thinking its 99% certain that Baron V was referring to the later spidey 1 by mcfarlane not the 1963 spidey 1 (and not the '62 af15)
.

Correct, When I think of McFarlane covers, ASM #300, Spider-Man #1 and Spawn #1 come to mind. And since they're from the modern era they may have been sold/traded after their creation.

Just wondering if McFarlane kept Spidey #1 or Spawn #1 covers or sold them off?
