Yeah, I've decided to fire up a CGC 9.8 collection in the BATMAN series again recently.

I'm (slowly) trying to amass a CGC 9.8 collection from #263 to #713.

I once had about 75% of them but sold them off about 3 years ago.

 

The ones I own are currently listed in the Registry under my handle CAMPER49.

One day I hope to own as many as you do!

Why 263?

For me #263 began a "new" era in BATMAN, right after the 100-page Giants ended.

This was the era when I began collecting as a kid.

I actually owned the one and only CGC 9.8 #263 on the census but I sold it about 3 or 4 years ago to a fellow board member.

 

Plus affordability is a factor for me.

I could never afford a 9.8 book from, say, #227 to #251 with most of the art being by Adams.

As for the 100-pagers....Greggy will never part with them

 

If I was fortunate enough to find an affordable raw 9.8 copy of any of these books below #263 then I would submit it but that is highly unlikely.
