Treehouse of Horror Style hm

I think Bart has more enemies (Jimbo, moe, Curly, Nelson, Sideshow Bob, Crabapple, Burns), that he makes a much better choice. In the tree house of course hmhm

With the camp fire in front of him as the only light source...ominous shadows, ominous shadows abound. :o

Hi, everyone.

I am a new member. My name is Mike DeCarlo and I am a 30+ years comic and animation artist who has worked for Marvel, DC, the Simpsons, Disney and others.

I have a commercial website dedicated to doing private commissions for fans and collectors of any style, period or genre. URL:

http://www.fancommissions.com.

I have worked on everything from Batman to Bugs Bunny in my career and can do a very professional job with virtually any topic, style or concept. I also love doing re-creations and you can view a recent one on Ebay: URL:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230706343543#ht_904wt_1185

I would love to hear from members about engaging me to do commission work.

Thanks so much,

Mike

Welcome to the boards Mike

Added a new section Re-assembled Books or Book Sections.

Several folks are trying to re-assemble books near and dear to them and/or sequences within particular books and I think that's a theme.

The first man up is Steve Welch and the battle between The Thing and Dr. Doom from FF 40.

Any other nominees from folks who publicly state that they are rebuilding books?

I have two;

Marvel Team-Up #2 - Olliffe/Milgrom, The book I got my first OA from.

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=123585

Spider-Girl #22 - Olliffe/Williamson, The first appearance of my favorite SG Villain.

http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=123586

I broke them off into Gallery's to separate them from the rest of my Olliffe collection for easier access.

This theme idea is really neat - and may encourage people to move away from by artist which is now default functionality; that said, if you are inclusive you will end up with a lot of character/team themed galleries potentially diluting the impact.

May motivate me to get my partially complete books up on CAF.
