But it's always nice to get other perspectives.

 

My knee jerk was "are you effing kidding me?" and the desire to block.

 

But, I just responded with "No thanks. Thanks for the interest!"

 

And that was that.

Update:

 

After I sent "no thanks", I didn't hear anymore from bidder.

 

Another bidder placed a bid on item in question...and original bidder came back and outbid them, and even placed a "protection" bid on the item...

 

...they then bid on another item.

Ask what they are smoking, block the bidder, and raise the starting bid to the top of original bid they placed. Seriously anyone not willing to stand behind a bid they freely made is not worth dealing with!!
