nah, i think its more a lot of big players go to cons and travel in compared to locals going to stores, if the alex ross was auctioned at megacon or nycc then it probably would of doubled

It wont be. I asked the seller, and he felt grading it would take away from it's "desireablility" but figures it would grade out at 8.5-9.0...to each his own I guess. I think it makes it much more desirible if it IS graded

Yea u could always crack it out.that makes no sense. Full sisclosure I'm drunk. Btw stopped in midtown comics and they have no idea what dead pool blanks are
