Brave and the Bold 28

How rare is Brave 28? Looking beyond census, I have noticed HG copies rarely come up for sale or auction. Statistically and according to census I believe Showcase 22 is more rare than Brave 28, but HG copies are harder to find of Brave 28. Collectors just will not let go of HG copies of Brave 28. I have seen all 3 Showcase 22 9.0's in auction in the last year, along will many 7.0's and above. I rarely ever see anything above 6.5 for Brave 28. Any thoughts? Good time to sell SC 22 due to GL hype? IDK?

Neither are rare.

 

I've seen a fair number of VF and higher copies of both offered for sale over the years. There've probably been more copies of SC 22 over the last few years because of the massive jump in SC 22 prices and the GL movie.

For Tim, anything less than 9.4 is not rare. For the average collector, early DC in 7.0 starts the path to HG and certain DC's in the late mid 50's to very early 60's are scarce in 8.0+. The top three SA DC (SC4,SC22,BB28) in 7.0+ grades are quite desirable.
