I have gained much more appreciation for this book after reading YTLM for the first time a couple weeks ago. I am definitely glad I have only read it once so it will be that much better when I reread it during this long break. I wonder how this will play out with the cliffhanger. I'm in NYC, and have been to Hanley's, two Midtowns (Times Sq and Lex), and Manhattan Comics - and every copy has a fairly significant spine ding about 1/3 down from the top. Think I've got one that will pass (this is the only series I buy physically and slab), but may just wait for eBay and pay an inflated amount (vs. getting a 9.6 back). I went through at least 100 Saga's and everyone had the problem you discussed in your thread. This is one of the many reasons I don't purchase new comics on line. I'm not a big fan of getting a bunch of 9.2's and 9.4's. If a company could sell 9.8 candidates to collectors I'm sure they would make a nice profit. I know there is 1 or 2 individuals that sell 9.8 CGC new issues but does anyone sell "raw" 9.8 candidates? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
