When buying Action(s) 9 and under

where does the collectibilty lie? I'm a huge Superman collector/fan and I've always wanted a low numbered Action - I can get a #9 for reasonable but what should look for? is $2,600 to much for a CGC 3.0.

If it is unrestored - I'd make sure it is a CGC or legitimate label - there are no 3.0 Blue Universal label (Unrestored) copies in the census (unless it is so newly graded, the registry hasn't updated).

 

It may be a restored (Purple label). There are 2 of those in the census (one Minor Amateur restoration and the other Minor Professional).

 

The MA book is trimmed and sold in August, 2011 for $1,554 according to GPA.

I was the underbidder on the 3.0 Billy Wright #8 in the HA. It went for just under $5k. I would think that 8 & 9 are the least valuable from #1-9.
