Why did that book get a 9.0? Back cover crease? Interior damage? Paul Litch with post-convention-dinner hangover?

X-men 114 is usually treated pretty brutally by the graders. Been looking for a high-grade copy for a long time to no avail. Tough black cover.

I'll take option C. There are no soft creases, back cover is just as nice as the front. The graders notes say there are finger bends that brought it down. Honestly I don't see them, nothing that should have brought it down to a 9.0. Oh well!
