Saw the "NEW DC Logo" in action last night

Took the kids to see the LORAX movie and before the movie started there was quite a lengthy trailer for all things DC Nation.

 

They incorporated the whole "peeling back" aspect of the logo into the trailer. I guess it worked for the most part.

 

The best part of the trailer was they hit on the comic book aspect of it pretty good, not just the animated series stuff. I still think they need to put the 1-800 number and the comic shop locator logo at the end of these things. People won't necessarily be able to write it down on the spot, but they might remember the logo or at least the name of the damn thing so they can look for it on the web or look for the app.

 

I'm not sure why Marvel, DC or any of the others for that matter, don't advertise more.
