Taking Subs for Emerald City Comic Con

Hey all, many of you have messaged me about getting some thing done at Emerald City Comic Con coming up at the end of this month, March 30 - April 1st. I have spoken with Joe P at CGC and he has cleared me to accept submissions for the show, being so late in the game I will NOT be a 'facilitator' for this show and will NOT have my own CAW. This being said I can still get a lot of stuff done, just have to co-ordinate with CGC at the show for CAW's.

This will be my first show doing something like this so I want to clear up a few points. Being my first show I can not guarantee anything to anyone, but I will do my best to get everything I am asked for. If your books do not get done you will still have to pay return shipping. I can't be responsible if you are unhappy with what an artist does for a sketch. I can't guarantee grades of course, but I always handle books with care.

 

So, PM me with requests, sketches will be attained on a first come first serve basis. Keep in mind some people have already messaged me so there in line.

 

I need books to be in hand on or before Monday March 26th. Please put your name, your address, board name, phone number and the creator / request on the back board. Please properly prep your books or I can prep books for a fee if you like.

Whew... ok everyone who has messaged me has been contacted back, I have created a excel sheet with priorities and a list of requests so far.

Quick note here, as I said this is my first time and one of you brought up a good point. There is a new 5$ invoice fee, I am not sure if I can combine invoices like I do when I do mail aways or if each books on its own invoice. There might be a small fee (5$) for each book after the fact depending on how this pans out.

Quick update, spoke with Adi's agent and they are not taking pre-show requests. So that is one artist I am likely unable to get any more sketches for at the show.

What would be your deadline for having books in hand? I have heard that Emberlin will be there and I'll have a few ASMs for him. I doubt I will do this, but figure I should ask, can you crack yellow labels to add sigs?

People are messaging me asking how late they can get books here. Up to each of you when you send the books. I will be leaving after the mail arrives Thr. and my fiance is off work. So if they are here before then obviously they will come with me for signing / sketching etc.

 

If you want a sketch I have lots of blanks I will be bringing a bunch extra along so I can provide those but gonna be hard to get payments over in time past Thr.

For anyone who might be interested I am gonna pick up a few copies of the Monsters and Dames book from ECCC I will take it and get it signed by as many participants as possible.

 

This book is too big to be CGC'd as far as I am aware.

I called CGC yesterday to see what day they were working on for Moderns, they said 3/31 so I would think we should hear something any day now on these....

that would be nice....my patience is starting to run down. It's been approx. 51 business days, CGC must be swamped. Lessons learned i guess.
