Scanning CGC books

What's the best way to scan CGC books , if you don't have the images? When i use a regular scanner it comes out like [!@#%^&^]. Any help would be gladly appreciated.

Bottom line is that you may need a new scanner. Some scanners just won't focus on the book inside the slab.

 

The HP Officejet 7110 works well and is a legal sized scanner. There are other threads within the last couple of weeks where people have discussed this. Do a search for "+scanner" within the last month in the Comics General forum.
