Guess the comic book title and issue number

67 posts in this topic

I thought this might be fun. From a interior panel & pehaps an additional hint provided guess the comic book title and issue number.

Feel free to contribute your own if you wish.

For purposes of this thread use Silver Age books with cover dates of Oct 56 thru Dec 69.

In some cases if the going is slow, I may offer additional clues. :makepoint:

First up an "easy" one to whet your appetites.

#1: Kryptonite is involved in this story.

Hmmm...I'm a Marvel Zombie so I can't get any of these! hm But I'm sure there are many DC fans who can sort these out rather quickly. Good luck all,

Dan

For Marvel fans.

#7: A book from the late in the S.A. (67-69)

# 8 is not TOS #83, but your getting warm.

A few more clues are in order.

#1 Think opposite of the name of the TV show that starred William Bendix in the 50's, to narrow down the name of the title.

#2 Makes his Debut in issue #27.

#3 Not Showcase either.

#4 DC title similar to FF.

#5 Not Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds.

#8 A suspensful tale, but not issue 83.

This might be tougher than I thought. hm More clues, in the form of small

portions of the front covers for the 6 remaining unsolved books. (note these are small)

The other clues given so far will also be included. Good luck. :wishluck:
