In my pile, I've only read the Wolvie issue, which I agree - was 'meh' but the last part gave me hope for issue #3. Looking forward to Kitty.

I really want Captain Marvel to hit like all of her previous titles - since the restart, this one has been a bit jumbled. I haven't read 7 yet, but will this week.

Thanks for keeping this up!

Yeah, I agree with all of that - Captain Marvel has been a bit hit and miss so far.

As you all know I loathe Marvel’s policy and I really did not think I would do such a thing, but this evening I bought the last two issues of Ms. Marvel (#6 and #7, #8 has yet to arrive here).

This title has something different, and in some way it’s gracious, despite the initial "confusion".

I like how she met with Wolverine, and some explanation on her powers as well…

Alright on the Fantastic Four…

And… no, I no longer like Peter David. Not in the least.

And the new artist is nice, he still has time to improve but nice… although the cartoon styled "takes" are a bit out of place sometimes – they should be more spare.

But Wolverine was Wolverine, the way Kamala Khan deals with the Marvel characters being both real and works of fiction refers to the established tradition started by Roy Thomas (I recall Fantastic Four #176, Marvel Two-In-One Annual #1 and many others), and we finally see why her powers are weird…

Overall the book is graceful and unpretentious, and somewhats gets back to the kind of respect I expect for the characters. Good stuff, definitely "out of the box", for now. :)

I've liked ASM Learning to Crawl. It's been solid story and art wise. One thing that it struggles with however, is it can't seem to figure out what era it is in. While it's supposed to be set after ASM#1 and before ASM#3, exactly when is hard to figure. One the one hand there are people on cell phones, but on there other there are guys wearing fedoras. I'm sure they're trying to be ambiguous with it so you can't age the characters, but it's a weird quirk.

Ms. Marvel has been excellent the last few issues.

I may have to get back into it. I tried for the first few issues (I liked the art) but the story wasn't doing anything for me. I'll give it another whirl.
