First Grades are In

& Next submission

I just recently received my Walking Dead 27 and my Wolverine 1 back from CGC. To my surprise the grades exceeded my expectations, which really shows i was just guessing. My walking dead 27 i thought i might get a 9.2 but came back 9.6! Uggghh that close to 9.8! Maybe ill have it pressed in the future see if i cant get that 9.8. Wolverine 1 i guessed would be a 9.4 and that one came back 9.8! Super stoked about that one as it was my first comic i ever purchased. Still waiting for my Green lantern 40 and Action comics 304 to be scheduled for grading. I aslo have sent in a second submission of modern comics(9 of them). This submission includes my walking dead 35 error variant that im hoping once graded will be the highest graded copy in the census. And with where WD prices are now, I can not wait to get this one back!

The following statement is pure rumor and speculation.

Although I have recently gotten some books pressed (future articles coming) the slab the book is encapsulated in could also be pressing your books while it is in the holder hence why CGC does not consider pressing a restorative technique.

My ASM #129 was originally a 9.2. When I had it signed it became a 9.4. How? Why? Did the slab pus out the imperfections? I do have articles on this as well. You have a 9.6 of the walking dead #27, that is still impressive in my book.

Or it simply could have come back at 9.4 because what is a 9.2 on one day could be a 9.4 on another day (and vice versa). Such is the reality of grading. (shrug)

Good thing you prefaced this statement by saying you don't know what you're talking about - because you don't know what you're talking about.
