OT - How Many Times....

have you hit the reply button and started typing, only to change your mind and decide not to post?

 

For me, there's probably two 'neverminds' for every one that I actually post.

 

And a related question, what's the most time you spent typing a reply only to not post it?

I've done it about a couple dozen times over the past year.

 

Why?

 

Somehow, it usually doesn't say what I want it to say. Or, at least I'm having trouble saying what I'm trying to say. Or..how shall I put this.....

i think for every message i truly post, i've deleted 20 replies.

 

but that's okay. i wear my semi-lurker status with pride.

Ive done it a few times, when it ends up not making the sense I thought it would.

 

But what I really hate is typing a paragraph (or more) and forgetting to copy the text just in case and then being kicked off the boards and the post is lost!!
