How about a new "Overstreet"?

A big part of the problem is that the ultimate price guide--the internet--is at all of our fingertips, 24/7, 365-days per year, and bundled in with all the other electronic nonsense we have piped into our homes as part of the price we pay for modernity: it's a shambolic mess, but a large chunk of data IS already out there for the taking and for many books if you have the time, savvy, and inclination to find it.

So...any attempt to collate multiple discrete sources--and then sell it as more-or-less definitive analysis--will always have someone, somewhere crying foul, and b!tching that the results presented therein are either agenda-driven (an old saw) or woefully inadequate given the gargantuan volume of information (perpetually in flux) which is readily available at any given moment.

Frankly, the whole idea gives me a massive headache...or maybe that's just the wine... :insane:
