PGM TTA 39 & ST 107 (How bad is "good" vs fair"?)

Ok, so I know these are both low grade. I guess my question is the difference between the "good" and "fair" grades.

Neither of those is beat up enough to warrant fair. I think you may be looking at "Good" vs "Good minus" at the least.

ST 1.5 The strong tanning/brittleness of the cover pulls this one out of the Good range into the fair range for me.

IMHO both are lower than G.

 

I'm with Aces on grade but they could be lower depending on defects that are hard to judge without book in hand.

 

For books like this it couldn't hurt to tell us the length of spine split, how well the centerfold and cover are attached etc.
