Submariner #1....Can I get some input please.

I don't usually pick up alot of older books because my grading skills are less than perfect, but I came accross this one while i was out of town for $15.00 and figured a book from 1967 in this condition was worth the gamble.. Can i get some input on the grade and the value please.

I would give it a 4.0 to 4.5 depending on what the back cover and interior looked like.

I agree that it is in the 4.5 - 5.0 range.

 

It's worth about what you paid for it... you certainly didn't get ripped off, so enjoy it!

4.5....and a VG+ copy sold recently on Ebay for about $18.50 so it looks like $15 wasn't a bad price, just not the steal of the century

really tough to grade books in this condition from just the scan. There could be flaws on the back cover and interior pages, staple area, etc.

 

I agree with the others though, probably 4.0. Great reader copy though!!

Thanks for the help, wasn't really looking at it as a steel so i'm happy with the purchase.
