Just picked this up at a local shop. Wondering if others opinions are close to mine. The scanner really brings out the spine creases which are not nearly an pronounced in hand. The corner crease on the back cover is not color breaking. Pages are in great shape, OW at worst, no tears or creases on any pages. Staples are firmly attached. Only tear is on the bottom middle edge of front cover. Good color gloss. Major detractor is the water stain on bc.

I'll throw out a 3.0.

 

The moisture damage is pretty bad and a rusty bottom staple.

I hope you're right. I'd be happy with a 4.0. Now where did I put those coupons? Got a superman 76 and JLA 1 to submit, although since they changed the maximum I'm not sure if I can use one on the JLA 1. anyone know how stirct they are about the new max value for the free submissions coupons?

Structurally looks like VG+/VG/F range, but with water damage, 3.5...

I tend to agree with the 3.5 camp but wouldn't be surprised it it came in at a 3.0.

 

And there's a water stain on the FC as well...

Those stains are going to get hammered. I'd say 3.5 tops but would not be surprised by a 3.0.
