She died tonight at a little past midnight,with her mate standing gaurd.

A really great,sweet kind and loving bird.

I will always miss her

2003~2012

Will post a few pics later...

really have to keep an eye on Dante,her mate,lived together for 8 years,so

he is a little confused and tore up.Poor fella.

Sincerely,thank you.Thank you everyone.With having as many pets as I

do,and many of them98%being rescues,I know death is going to happen,it's

part of living.Burpee(her knickname)was really a special pal for me.I actually

agreed to rescue Dante because she would not stop laying(duds) eggs for

me,and I figured she'd have some babies and get on with it.No babes,but the eggs

stopped at least and they became friends of a feather.He is

sleeping in my shirt right now.He understands and is heartbroken.

It's eerie,but all the folks in the house just always seem to know.

Well,maybe not the fish lol But seriously even the fire bellied toads have been

singing all night....
