this pilot series thing from Top Cow seems like a massive cluster......hardcore is apparently a one shot also....anyone read any of these...one shot garbage i guess.

Invincible is the longest lasting indie superhero comic. #1 raw is going over $200 now on the bay.

 

Umm... I think Image has several longer lasting superhero comic than Invincible.

 

maybe he consideres savage dragon a police procedural comic

I would recommend Murderer #1, I really liked this and was hoping it would get picked up for a series. I read Demonic as well, not so good. Have both of them sitting around somewhere. Not sure about the other two.

 

The only Pilot Season I remember that did go to 4 issues was The Twilight Guardian, not a bad read and it had an iZombie type feel to it.

It's sold out at midtown, mycomicshop, dcbs, tfaw and milehigh. Pretty much every online store I know. I found a seller on eBay selling 8 copies at cover and they were all taken before I could even check the shipping rate.

 

Fortunately for me, another seller listed up 10 copies at cover.
