Question About Grading

8 posts in this topic

Hey all I have a couple of comics I would like to send in to get slabbed at the next convention I go to. I am just wondering how many points CGC will knock off the grade of the comic for stress marks on the binding. If that is the only problem with a book and the corners are sharp no dents, what can I expect to usually get? Not looking for an exact grade just a range.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Here are the photos of two spines that are like this...keep in mind that everything else on the book is in great condition including the corners.

The white marks are of course what I am talking about...they are not dents just stress marks...just wondering how much CGC would take off for those. Thanks!
