Original art of the FF #70 cover and the unretouched version.

David Mandel just added the original art of the cover of FF #70 to its amazing collection:

This is another case of a retouched cover where Marvel stored in their files the unretouched image and used it in a Marvel reprint, specifically Marvel's Greatest Comics #53, as seen here:

I have seen this kind of rarities in the Jack Kirby Collector before, but I sent some samples to John Morrow with no reply. I agree with you that there's stuff very interesting and this is the kind of thing I love to see in these mags.

 

Maybe the problem with Morrow is that he probably doesn't want nothing to do with the spanish editions since he got very pissed off because they used images from his mags without permission or credit. Later they credited them, but still used them without permission or economical compensation.

 

Anyway, there's still other rarities worth to publish them like the one in this thread that is not related to those spanish publications.
