Did you hear about the big Heritage auction?

Is the market big enough to soak all of that up at current market prices? Cause:

Avengers #1-100 (89 are 9.8 and 11 are 9.6)

Daredevil #1-100 (90 9.8 and 10 9.6)

Fantastic Four #1-102 (94 are 9.8 and 9.6)

Journey Into Mystery #83-125 (40 are 9.8 and 9.6)

Strange Tales #101-168 (64 are 9.8 and 9.6)

Tales of Suspense #39-99 ( All are 9.8 and 9.6)

Tales To Astonish #36-101 (64 are 9.8 and 9.6)

Thor #126-200 (72 are 9.8 and 3 are 9.6)

X-Men #1-66 (61 are 9.8 and 5 are 9.8)

... is a LOT of books!

Not just a lot of books. Many of them are the highest graded copies.

thats why I cant fathom the market to soak all this up... we are all gonna need deep pockets, or there are going to be some nice deals...

Gotta guess that the keys go for well over GPA (especially for the "single highest" examples) , and the non-keys average under GPA at the end of it all...

People will pay for a chance to own the top census book when it comes to keys, but for "regular" issues... the market has to be smaller right?

Must not have been able to reach a deal with Brulato. That's a lot of volume to dump on the market at once.

I wonder what percentage of the "stupid money" price he paid will he be recovering on this "investment."

I'll bet he takes an beating unlike anything the hobby has seen before. hm

It's going to make for a mighty sweet retirement nest egg.

With the outstanding Heritage scans of front and back covers, I've got a lot of oggling to do.
