My last DETECTIVE COMIC was #168.

Fixed that for you.

Thanks...forgot about my remainder copies.

Since my remainder copies are not with my regular collection I sometimes

forget how many good titles there are in that box...like DETECTIVE #165.

One of my favorite series was ALL-STAR COMICS, when I could find

them. I believe #21 was the first one I found on the newsstand...it appears

that over the years the cover has disappeared.

I guess I was infected with the All-Star bug too.

The Solomon Grundy cover is my favorite.

Nice book, one that I seemed to have missed. This one was a real favorite of mine.

ADVENTURE COMICS was a pretty good series you don't see to often.

Yep. Those Adventures are pretty scarce. Nice copy.

And it also has a great ad for SUPERBOY #1.

I remember seeing this ad and not being able to wait until I could find a copy

and it wasn't that easy to find a copy.

There was a corner store that had a very limited supply of comics,

no DC's or Fawcett's...but always a variety of Quality's like these

CRACK COMICS.

Wow, some crackers here lately Marty! I really like the Shadow and Spirit comics. I bought a Doll Man quarterly recently for the war bonds cover, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun the artwork inside was.

In going through my collection I discovered that the CAPTAIN AND THE KIDS/

KATZENJAMMER KIDS appeared on the covers of quite a few different titles.
