While going through the "G's" in my collection I found this comic

which was published in Canada but carries advertising for Fawcett's

CAPTAIN MARVEL and MECHANIX ILLUSTRATED. I think I have

one or two more of this title...just have to locate them.

Always thought this was a pretty good series...I don't remember

ever seeing issue #3 & #4 on any newsstand...was only able to

find these two.

Don't remember ever seeing these...and when did they go to 15 cents?

Most of the Picture Stories series were priced at 15 cents for the Spring 1947 issues. Price was back to 10 cents by issue two.

THE SKYMAN was a pretty good character...never had a SKYMAN

COMIC, but did pick up BIG SHOT and SPARKY WATTS which featured

SKYMAN stories.

Always one of my favorite characters and comic...this is one

that I actually had a subscription to...received it as a Christmas

present.

Just scanned a group of my GIGGLE COMICS and HA HA COMICS...I had

forgotten how enjoyable they were and still are.

As I near the completion of scanning my collection, around 640 comics so far,

I ran across these two GREEN LANTERN'S that were in the last box.

Still finding books I forgot about, like a few FLASH COMICS.

I like those later Flash comics because they relate better to the silver age Flash stories that I used to read when I was a teenager.

Here's a couple more...not in the best of shape, I guess that's why

I had them in a separate box.

I like both of those a lot Marty. We were talking about that section of the Flash run last night at our little comic geek get together at my house.

How, or where, did you store your books all these years?

Until the early 80's they traveled and were stored in just cardboard boxes...

then they were stored in a variety of comic book bags in comic boxes.
