Hulk 181 w spots

Please offer grade opinions and comments.

 

I also appreciate suggestions for board pricing or expected ebay sales price.

 

Stamp is there all complete etc etc.

 

Spots are only on the front cover.

 

No stress was placed on the comic in the scanning process. I held the little tent curl along the spine while scanning. ---Ed

What did that do you think? Is it a stain from something dripping or more overspray looking

 

I would have said 8.0 without the spots, with 6.0?

I think dripping maybe had it out when was raining for a second. I agree with grades though

I would bet that it was a child using water color paint,that splashed.Too bad.

I think the Hulks pants were thrown in the wash with the whites and ran . Looks like over spray I have seen this on other books exact same color. Maybe the over spray dripped or ran?

 

I'd still say 6.0 but the cover seems to have smudges. I'll take a shot for $100 bucks and send it in and report back the results

Structurally it is very sound. Too bad about the stains and water marks. I see a few finger prints and smudges on the FC.

 

Taking into account the visual appeal of the book, and maybe some of the purple could be reduced/remoived from the BC I would say 6.0 with an outside shot at 6.5.

weird one. I say 5.5 as is.

6.0 and a great looking one at that. It would be intriguing to see what it graded but I personally probably wouldn't do it for fear of wasting my money.
