Personally, I think tth had it almost right. Collecting Marvel Silver Age keys is the comics collecting equivalent to playing tee-ball.

 

Almost right. By collecting he meant accumulating with an eye toward eventual, profitable cash out.

As a baseball/softball coach who has coached 2 girls and 2 boys from rookie up to 13U travel, let me assure you high level t-ball (i know that is an oxymoron) is the most fun you can have in the sport.
