So, yesterday was a rough day. I attended the funeral of a friend I've known since we were 14. To say that it was a somber and tear-filled day is understating it. A package arrived for me after I had gotten home from the funeral and had taken a nap. Inside was a (semi-belated) wedding gift from fellow boardie, BeerThirty (Ryan).

 

 

It was really awesome timing. It brought a huge smile to my face and I felt like it was a huge testament to the sort of friendships that a hobby and place like this can foster. I just wanted to thank you again, Ryan, for your generosity and for giving me something to smile about at the end of a terrible, terrible day.

 

Oh, and also for now completing the pair for me. This page will look great with its counterpart.
