9.4 with a rusty staple

...Quick question,...anyone know what a book would grade if it's a true 9.4, but with one or two rusty staples?...no bleed from the staple if that makes a difference,...

i have a book with light rust on 2 staples that MIGHT be a 9.4 otherwise. it's a 9.0.

actually, make that 2 books like that- thought of another one.

Did they grade at 9.0 w CGC, or is that your grade?

I got a 9.8 on a Modern with slight rust on one staple. Didn't notice it when I sent it in.

Maybe they didn't notice either.

posting these larger than normal to show rustage. the #3 even has a little migration on the bottom staple.
