On the 2nd "N" in CONAN there is a spot about the size of a dime that looks like a stain. No discoloring, no tide mark, but the gloss is different when held up to the light. Also I can faintly see the outline on the inside of the front cover. I don't think you will be able to see it in the scan. Pages are light cream to OW, inside cover is not tanned. Staples are holding firmly, no rips or tears inside.

 

 

The light pencil writing says $30.00 on the back cover.

Actually it is very round, but not perfectly. Originally I thought it looked like a tape pull, but a sticker pull makes more sense. Looking at this larger scan I can now see faint marks where the edges of the stain is.
