highest graded copy, but not high grade

Another key, though less impressive than a Tec 1 sheesh.

1st Woody Woodpecker.

6 total graded, 5 unrestored and it looks like a recent 5.0 was added.

Since the early GA Pedigrees out there don't seem heavy on the funny animal books and this was a final issue (first funny animal cover too). It could be highest out there.

This is the highest graded copy of Katy Keene 62: P2110381.jpg

The cover is a homage to the 1950s Sci/FI classic movie "Forbidden Planet" and is the last issue of a popular run. There are only 2 graded in the census--both 6.5s

Very cool book, and one I'd like to add to the collection. But since I'm a mint monster, I'm holding out for the lone high grade copy floating around somewhere in the cosmos :wishluck:

What would be sort of fun (but not really), would be a thread whereupon we posted books that were highest graded when we bought them. But now....busted down big time.

I've got one of those

When I sent it in my copy of Daring Love 1 (That obscure Ditko romance book) I stood at the top of the charts with a 6.0

Then the Crippen copy came out and CRUSHED it with a 9.something. a MIGHTY smackdown indeed, lol
