Twilight Zone "The Howling Man"

that guy in the Howling Man was a complete and total insufficiently_thoughtful_person....got burned twice in one episode.

As mentioned in the episode "You can catch the Devil, but you can't hold him long." :makepoint:

Just about every episode feels like a pre-code.

I own every DVD of this series and feel it was the best TV eva!

:cloud9:

I definitely agree with this.

That would be Night call from a short story by Richard Matheson.

There were two episodes that featured a telephone. The other was " Long Distance Call" that had Bill Mummy talking to his dead grandmother on a toy telephone.

There are quite a few EC-like episodes, similar in style to Al Feldstein's science-fiction work.

Examples...

- People Are Alike All Over

- Third From The Sun

- The Rip Van Winkle Caper

- The Invaders

- The Little People

The Invaders was the one I was trying to remember! With the tiny flying saucer with U.S. Air Force on it at the end? Another absolute classic!

The Rip Van Winkle Caper did have an EC feel to it, I liked it, but it's not one I can watch again and again.

I had to look up the others, I haven't see The Little People or Third From the Sun, and I only vaguely recall People are Alike All Over. Hopefully SyFy will get to airing them soon!

If you have NETFLIX streaming they are all on demand. Just a click away. (thumbs u

I just bought the complete blu ray set new for $175!!

It's all streaming on Netflix...

It won't always be streaming on Netflix they cycle things off of there over time. Plus the 4th season isn't on there.

Here's an Outer Limits trivia question for the hard-core fan. No cheating now.

What episode featured an actor named Richard Ney. He was also the star of the investment market update years later that would come on television every day after the Nightly Business Report. It was called " The Ney Report".

The show opened with him getting out of his Roll's Royce and walking into the house. He was a believer in specialist manipulation on the market on a daily basis and offered reports and a newsletter you could purchase.

Quick, and no cheating.

A copy of 'Wall Street Jungle' sits on my bookshelf. :)
