I was there in early 2005.

They didn’t seem to have a great back issue selection by then.

I was there in 1984. All thru the 80s, really.

Also, you might have seen the email from CGC regarding the Chinatown Pedigree. That was acquired by the owner of Golden Age Collectibles back in the day.

I remember going to Golden Age back in the 1970s when they primarily dealt in vintage movie posters (Granville was theatre row back then). They became more of a comic store in the 1980s and went big into sports cards during the early 90s boom. But as far as my collecting tastes went the late great Comicshop was the only store dealing in decent back issues back then (early 1980s).

Not sure if there are any comic stores in Vancouver with a decent (silver, bronze age, etc.) back issue selection anymore.

Supersnipe in NYC, went there in 75 or 76 but seemed like the place had already been there forever.

This was my first shop. I mainly remember feeling intimidated going in. It was very small, with tons of comics.

The store has an interesting history. The owner was apparently friends with George Lucas, and other filmmakers.
