Here is Black Cat Mystery #33. I grade it GD+ (2.5). A cool, violent, pre-Code Harvey with art from Bob Powell, Tom Hickey, Rudy Palais, and Vic Donahue. The story "Grave On the Green" is amazingly gory!!!

Here is something I bet most of you have never seen before: The Complete How-To Book Of Space (How-To Book #7) with an awesome cover by L. B. Cole!

 

It's not a comic; it is difficult to describe - profusely illustrated it has puzzles and games and information about rockets and space. Obviously low-grade, at least there is no writing inside or out.

 

I believe this is a very rare item, it took me years of searching to find this one.

Highlights include an issue penciled(!) by Jim Shooter, early Keith Giffen art, and of course the famous Byrne/Austin Dr. Doom cover art on issue #14.

 

None of these have been pressed, but all would benefit from pressing. Minor bends and indents are the only defects to note. I estimate most of these would be in the 9.6 to 9.8 range after being "squished".

 

I used to work at Heritage Comics, and along with Lon Allen was one of the two designated graders at the time. I also worked for Matt Nelson at Classics Inc., so I think you can trust my grades.
