I would never make a 9.6-9.8 bet using only a scan. Many, many times, there is no way to know unless you grade it in person.

I agree. I've seen some head scratchers before, but this one looks 9.8 in hand. I'm a terrible gambler anyway, so I'd probably lose. Edit: 9.6 fo sho.

That's one sweet Pressman. I got one for $3 at a show a few years back and sold it for $125. It looks like it goes for even more now.

With a press, it's a 9.4. No higher, but probably no lower. As is, most likely a 9.0, but besides the couple of spine ticks, the only flaws on the book are "press friendly", if I choose to go that route. $3 for your copy was a score, as well. What condition was it in?
