Every year the show gets bigger and bigger meaning that it does get tougher to get certain guys and you really have to pick and choose what to go for.

 

I walked away with three sketches this year - Rob Guillory, Adi Granov and Alvin Lee

I'm nowhere near Canada but I got Mr. Boyd pick me up some sketches from Tony Perna and Francois Chartier:

 

 

 

On that Silver Surfer I would have made the reflection in his arm personally but that looks pretty awesome!

Me & Francois talked about having the reflection on Silver Surfer's arm but thought it would look to much like my Cable with Deadpool on arm reflection sketch. Beside, Silver Surfer wouldn't be the same without his surf board.

 

This was originally a Savage Surfer vs. Hulk sketch. Thanks again.

I have a Red Skull commission coming from Adi. Should be way cool.

so haven't been to a con in long time , i was kinda running around the whole time not knowing what to get and who ti get it from in the short time that i had .so i missed out on a lot .

Did Neal Adams do the Joker sketch at the con? That's the most detailed con sketch I have ever seen him do congrats

He did them all at the Con. I dropped my books off in the morning, paid $50 per sketch and then picked them up the next day. He said he wanted to take his time. I expected simple sketches for the price, but he went all out. I assume those sketches usually cost a lot more than what I paid.

So Cap Canuck, how much did Jim Cheung charge?

I deff think you did great with the Neal Adams sketches.

He charged me $30 and that included 2 prints, most of my sketches were free, but I got better bang for the buck with my Tony Daniel sketch, $20, Dale Keown, Finch, Granov and Disney sketches were all free. The Cheung was the only sketch I felt disappointed by.

$30 isn't too bad I guess, when you got 2 prints too I don't think it's that bad, but in comparison to your Tony Daniel, I guess it's no where near as cool.

Finch also did a great job. I also managed to get a quick doodle from Capullo and Moore.

Keown is crazy awesome.

 

Chueng was pertty much free or $10, depending on how you look at it. Most prints from name artist run $10 to $20 each.

I also got a bunch of things signed by Stan, but that is a different category all together. I would say my Finch, Daniel, Keown, Disney and Adams sketches were my best and most favorite pickups of the lot. I also got an amazing Layton page of a soon to be published Iron Man comic.

The show was crazy busy Friday & Saturday. Managed to get a few sketches considering I spent most of my time outside the con touring Toronto.

Great report. That free Keown Hulk looks like it would be $100 if it was done by even B- & C-level pros at Cons.
