Show off your Fan Expo Sketches!

47 posts in this topic

Just got back from a one day Fan Expo trip. Didn't get any covers done this time, but I did see some awesome ones by Pacheco, Ribic, and a few others being worked on. Hopefully someone will post those for all to see! Anyways, I'd like to see what people have been picking up this week!

Even though this is the SS Forum, I wanted to post these seeing as this part of the forum got me even started with this hobby. Don't have a scanner though, but hope you all enjoy!

I am ARG comics strip artist Andrew Gregoire's take on Phoenix.

Local artist Paul Limgenco from the Spent Pencil's Crew knocked this one out of the park with a Batman Painting!

A board favorite Sara Richard's version on Phoenix. I love her style.

And lastly another artist who I discovered through the boards, Michael Dooney. I talked to him before the show and picked this up and was pleasantly surprised!

Overall a great show for me!

I did the same as AZNFEVR, I only got 1 CGC SS book and I am hoping to still get a sketch on it from Campbell. The rest were all free sketches, except for the poor sketch from Jim Cheung (did not get my moneys worth), Agnes Garabowska and some $50 sketches from Neal Adams.

On that Silver Surfer I would have made the reflection in his arm personally but that looks pretty awesome!
