Walking Dead CGC Collection vs 1967 GTO

52 posts in this topic

I am here today to ask for some help with a large decision of mine.

To sell my huge Walking Dead cgc collection (more info later) and buy a 1967 GTO with my dad or just keep the comics?

I have had many classic cars in the past and love them, but currently I am on empty.

I love my walking dead collection, but I would love a GTO as well.

I know this is a CGC forum so the suggestions maybe a little one sided but any help would be great.

The car 1967 GTO all original numbers matching, Half/my cost is around 15K

As much as I like the books, you can drive and work on the car with your dad but only look at the front and back covers of the books encased in plastic. Plus you could always sell me either the #19 or #27 as I don't have those yet.

It's a difficult one though.

I'd go with the GTO.

Hardtop or Convert?

A 1967 GTO done correctly can fetch up wards of 60-80k. Time spent with your dad working on the car together is price less.

The walking dead had trade paper back sets for 60-80 dollars on ebay if you miss the story,

I have a 69 convert in the worst condition sitting on blocks in my shop. If I had the funds I'd finish it.

Hard top.

Ya a really cherry one can go for over 50k, but I'm looking at a driver.

I love comics that just sit on the wall in their CGC cases all safe and sound, but I hate cars you are too scared to drive.

I'd go with the GTO.
