^ onlyweaknesskryptonite^ For Card grading they are not the perceived industry leader.  Competition is good for consumers. For comics CGC had no actual competition, I really wish they did...

Maybe if they’d stop the SS events for a couple months it could happen for comics too  (shrug)

I get that and agree competition is good, but to do that at the expense of the customers who helped build CGC into the Top for comics  is not acceptable or the message you want to send . Especially when you are supposed to be the top. Just my 2c

I am not a fly by night and still submit and will continue, but expanding at the cost of quality and TAT is not any way to keep customers.

They could have stopped the cards just the same or just not had Cates come 3 times....

Comics made them. They are also expanding into games soon. Guess where our TAT will be then.  (thumbsu

FWIW, watching signer videos on Insta/FB, I think remarque books usually take place after all the signings so yours will probably be waaay back at end of queue for this event.

Yep, I feel your pain, my membership expires today.  Turned off auto-renew a few months back so will let it lapse.  Will think of getting back in when/if the TAT's drop to a reasonable level.  They've been making decent progress in the box opening (!?!?) backlog, now its the week of August 23rd.  But unfortunately the improved box opening times don't really seem to have translated to shorter grading times.  The only thing I'd consider sending in now would be Express or Modern Fast Track, but I see no rush to do either.

Well imagine, at announced higher pricing there was the MAD dash to submit orders. Well those packages have largely been opened, inventoried, and cleared out, to become a massive logjam at grader tables, slabbing room, and shipping floor :/

I think the only thing I’ll consider is on-site grading if they ever do that again.
