My 9/15 received modern batch just finished, happy with the results:

- I didn't think asm annual 21 would be 9.8, just wanted to get them graded as I bought them off the rack when they came out when I was kid. They had bindery tears.

- The xmen 164s are a little disappointing. Expected 9.2/9.4 with an outside shot at 9.6.

- Really pleased with the xmen 4s, figured they were 9.4/9.6

My Xmen 4 should have came in at 9.6 but 9.8 was the deal of the month apparently lol

Likely not the right thread for this, but I thought I'd share a bit more detail on this batch.

The following books were pressed:

- 3 x Uncanny X-Men 164

- Spider-Woman 1

- 3 x X-Men 4 (my presser initially told me I shouldn't get these pressed as he likely couldn't get them to 9.6 or 9.8)

Nothing else was pressed... I don't think you really need to press books that are extremely new.

The Sensation She-Hulk 39 was a big gamble, not really worth grading if it doesn't come back a 9.8. It was a dollar bin find from a few years ago.

I was hoping for 80% of the 50 books to come back as 9.8's, but only 60% got that grade. Oh well. :(
