334 Modern Fast Tracks received 1/30, still sitting on Verified.

 

All went "Scheduled for Grading" yesterday & today. Some just hit "GRADED".

 

So Dre is the sole cause of the CGC backlog :baiting:

 

 

How many books in total does CGC have for you right now, 3,000? hm

so if I ship 5 modern books out on Monday, around how long am I looking at before they show up again at my front door?

 

What service are you planning to use? FT is usually close to on schedule but you'll have conventions to work against so probably mid-March I'd expect? If you don't FT them you could probably start looking for them around July.

Well I was planning on using fast track, but if one of my books turns out to be valued at over 200 (Panzerfaust #1), then wouldn't that put it into a different tier and take longer?

Nah, that's not how it works - if you submit a WD #1 under the modern tier and it gets graded as a 9.8, there's a good chance CGC will call you and bump it to a different tier. This happens after the book has been graded, though, so it doesn't affect the turnaround time - you just pay a bit more cash.

 

For a book like PP #1, I honestly don't think CGC would bump you even if it hit a 9.9 - they usually only "catch" the high profile books.

don't quite understand why 1 of 6 8/27 economy pre-screen subs, all graded 1/23, shipped/safe 2/6 and is hand and the other 5 subs are still sitting on graded. LIFO, FIFO, WTFIO??

Received/Verified on January 24 (business day 1)

Scheduled for Grading February 11 (business day 13)

Graded February 12 (business day 14)

 

Once they are "shipped/safe", I will update.

what day is shipping for regular moderns? (non fast track for the slow)

 

I recently received my two submissions that were non fast track, and it literally took a little over 100 days to get them back.

 

I'll definitely be using fast track next time.

(didn't happen)

 

4 days (40%) behind as the books are still marked as scheduled for grading as of this moment.

As of the 2/12/13 it just changed over to Schduled for Grading.

 

Current wait time 9 business days from Invoice Date...

My FT was done within 8 business days, and the books were shipped very fast.

 

Not sure why your order hasn't been graded yet.
