2 Great New High Grade Consignments in Pedigree Comics’ September Grand Auction!

1 post in this topic

It is almost time for Pedigree Comics’ September Grand Auction. Slated to begin in just over one week, on the night of Saturday, September 22nd, 2012 and last for ten (10) days until the evening of Tuesday, October 2nd, this live, online event is shaping up to be Pedigree’s best auction of the year and will have over 400 choice high grade CGC certified Marvels and DC’s from the Silver and Bronze Ages, including many key and first appearance issues, plus books from many other genres and publishers. There is no Buyers Premium on any of the lots in the auction and almost EVERY book (over 95%) will be listed without a reserve. Each book is CGC graded and the minimum bid is only $100. You can view over 300 books in the Auction Preview right now at www.PedigreeComics.com under the Grand Auctions banner.

Please check the website and this space next week (Wednesday, September 19th) for the latest news and additions to the September Grand Auction, including the grades on the UNBELIEVABLE group of books we picked up at the recent Baltimore Comic Con (last weekend), over 40 high grade early Silver Age Marvels (plus some DC’s) including many keys. These books are also at CGC’s offices awaiting certification and will be graded by early next week and in time for the auction. You will not want to miss these Baltimore books!

We will continue to accept consignments for the auction, even after the auction commencement, until midnight on Tuesday, September 25th, so check the site (www.PedigreeComics.com) for consignment instructions and get your books in now.

If you have any questions or comments about the consignment process, any of the auction lots or about the Grand Auction in general, as well as how to consign your CGC graded books for Pedigree’s September Grand Auction, please contact Pedigree Comics' CEO and President, Doug Schmell, at (561) 422-1120 (office) or (561) 596-9111 (mobile) or by email at DougSchmell@pedigreecomics.com. For any financial related and consignment payment questions, please contact our CFO Lisa Shapiro at Lisa@pedigreecomics.com and for any technical related questions or concerns, please contactour Web Master at WebDesigner@pedigreecomics.com.

Consignors maximize their profits selling in our Grand Auctions, more so than on any other auction site or auction house. We do not charge a Buyers Premium, an amount that most bidders take into consideration when bidding in other sites (the bidders simply deduct that Buyers Premium amount from their final bidding price, meaning less $$ to the consignor and more to the auction site). The higher the value of your book(s) that sell in a Grand Auction, the more $$ you take home under Pedigree Comics’ Climbing Scale. We consistently set new sales records for Silver and Bronze Age comics in each Grand Auction and on our regular site inventory. Grand Auctions are unique and exciting, with new and diversified, top-rated CGC material in each event. Why settle for less by consigning with someone else?

Prospective consignors can also upload their own scans, item information, descriptions and reserve amounts for the September Grand Auction by utilizing the Automated Consignment System. It is actually very easy and fun to do. Just register onto the site, click "Customer Page" under "Your Account" and then click "Consignments" (under "Auctions"). You will then be able to enter the Pedigree Comics Consignment Management System and upload your own CGC certified books and magazines. We will receive an email notification automatically once you have uploaded the information and we will then review the information imparted for accuracy. The item(s) will then be added to the September Grand Auction to be bid on. You will be amazed how simple it is to utilize the Automated Consignment System.
