I think the only one I notice being late is TWD because of my obsession. Nowhere Men earned it's spot and will continue to be there even if it is only 5 books a year. accessndx Posted July 9, 2013 Share Posted July 9, 2013 Seems like some folks that initially loved NWM are throwing tantrums about the delays and are going the pseudo-blackmail route (I'm done after issue so and so) to I guess force E.S. to pump it out faster? I'm just as chapped as everyone else about the delays and E.S.'s cavalier and somewhat laissez-faire attitude concerning said delays....but I think it's all falling on deaf ears. He pretty much said in that interview that NWM takes a back seat to everything else, it's his spare time project. It's good enough IMO to get on the front burner, but there's only 2 folks that control that....him and Nate. Maybe if fans wrote letters to him encouraging the work to move along that would be more incentivizing than basically telling open unmonitored space that the love affair is over. It's understandable that he's got important things to do, but he could be a wee bit more enthusiastic about his own title IMHO. In retrospect the multiple prints ad nauseum were probably related to his lack of spare time as well. Either way, kvetching about the delays here is most likely ineffectual. While he was perusing the thread it may have served some purpose....but he obviously got his panties in a bunch and ran off mad.
